Intel Bay Trail Processors

Based on the Bay Trail platform, it is power efficient. Thanks to the specially optimized 22-nanometer low-power process with tri-gate transistors, performance, and energy efficiency have been significantly improved compared to its predecessor. The processor cores are based on the new Silvermont architecture. The increased utilization of the pipeline and many other improvements (optimized branch prediction, increased buffers, enhanced decoders) have increased the performance per clock by about 50 percent compared to the previous generation.

The VBYT-30 is a small form factor embedded fanless PC based on the Intel® Bay Trail platform. It supports Intel® Celeron™ J1900, J1800, N2940, and ATOM-E E3845 for better performance with cost advantages. The PC carries 2 SO-DIMM DDR3L memories up to 8GB to add higher bandwidth, lower latencies for processes. It features Intel Integrated graphic display via 1×HDMI and 1×VGA, supports dual independent playback.

A rich i/o interface includes 3xLAN, 2xCOM, 1xUSB3.2, and 5xUSB2.0 meets most market’s requirements. 1x mini-PCIe for Wi-Fi, 1x SIM card slot for expansion, and a desktop ready for easy installation. Its fanless construction not only overcomes noise challenges but also can be a great fit for various applications.
